Rules and
Conditions
1. Closing
date for entries has expired
2. Entry fee must be
paid with submission of application form - no phone or verbal entries
accepted. No exceptions!! Money talks!! .

3. All
games to have a referee, both teams to agree on a nominated ref. for their
match.
4. Matches
will be 35mins a half
5. Points:
3 for a win; 1 for a draw; 0 for a loss. Table position is determined by
points, in the event of two or more teams having the same amount of points,
position will be decided on goal difference; if two or more teams have the same
goal difference position will be decided by goals scored.
6. The
final positions in the league will determine your position in the playoffs. The
top four teams will play off for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The next 4 teams will
play off for the shield and the last 4 teams will play off for the plate.
7. Teams
are responsible for organising games between themselves on the appointed week.
In the event of a game not being played on the appointed week it will be moved
to the end of the league to allow the rest of the league to continue.
8. In
the event of a team not showing on the day of a game 1 point is docked from the
team and a 3-0 walkover is awarded to the opposing team.
9. In
the event of a team conceding a game prearranged by both teams on the day of
the match this team will concede a 3-0 walkover and the three points. Teams
should in so far as possible fulfill their fixtures as people have plans worked
around the games some evenings.
10. In
the case of a team conceding 2 walkovers during the course of the season, their
invitation to take part in future Soccer League's will be reviewed at the end
of the season with the possibility they will not be invited back.
11. All
team members must wear the same colour jerseys.
12. A
majority decision by the teams can change any off the above rules.
13. It
is all in the aid of a bit of craic, so take it handy when playing.
Additional Cup Game Rules
1. Should
the games be level at the end of 70mins: extra time of 10 minutes per half is
played; followed by 5 penalties each if required; followed by sudden death if
required till a winner is secured.
2. All
games to be completed on the night (no excuses will be accepted).
